Are We There Yet?

Are We There Yet?
This is the sign that is over the front door of Aileen's and my house, our home, going OUT. Meaning that when someone leaves our house they are going into the ACTUAL Mental Ward.

I've always felt that way. When it is considered how much ugliness and killing and hatred there is in the world today, it actually makes perfect sense that this sign is over the door going out of the house.

Because that's where the real mental ward is.

SIGN ON: Support Elizabeth Warren's Equal Employment for All Act

SIGN ON: Support Elizabeth Warren's Equal Employment for All Act

3:44 PM, EST:

Now this is a very important situation.  Because the Republican Party and the tea party have shown repeatedly that they hate the poor and they don't want anyone in the United States to have a living wage because they have fought, historically, against ever raising the minimum wage.  And yet they claim to follow Jesus Christ, who lived a life of poverty.  So they really believe in Jesus Christ, then why are they attacking the poor?  And why are they denying the middle class and the lower classes and those who are living in poverty a living wage?  What is their reasoning?  Because by their own legislative actions the Republican Party and the tea party are showing open contempt for the poor in the United States.  And subsequently they are thereby showing contempt and hatred for Jesus Christ who is their Lord and Savior because he lived a life of poverty.

So they hate the poor and are mistreating the poor which their legislative behavior clearly shows.  And they don't really respect the poor.  Then what is it about Jesus Christ that they actually support or respect?  If they are attacking the poor which is one of the people that Jesus was crucified for protecting.  And if they the Republican Party and the tea party are showing complete disregard and hatred for the poor, when their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ lived a life of poverty.  Then what about Jesus Christ I the actually showing any respect for?  And what gives them the right to call themselves a good Christian if they are showing complete hatred and contempt for every single type of person Jesus died protecting and for the life that Jesus Christ lived?

Actions ladies and gentlemen.  Actions speak louder than words.  Anyone can say they are a good Catholic or a good Christian or a good Jew or a good Muslim.  But it's important to remember that Mohammed and Buddha and Jesus and Moses all lived lives of total poverty.  And they all defended the rights of the poor, women, children, the disabled, those with terminal diseases.  And those who had been disenfranchised.

I am therefore urging all of you, as my readers, to support and sign this petition.

Thank you.
