Are We There Yet?

Are We There Yet?
This is the sign that is over the front door of Aileen's and my house, our home, going OUT. Meaning that when someone leaves our house they are going into the ACTUAL Mental Ward.

I've always felt that way. When it is considered how much ugliness and killing and hatred there is in the world today, it actually makes perfect sense that this sign is over the door going out of the house.

Because that's where the real mental ward is.

Gun Violence

3:14 PM, EST:

The Republican Party and the tea party and their right wing Christian, and right-wing Catholic extremist supporters all claim to be pro-life.  Isn't it interesting that most of the membership in the National Rifle Association our members who are Catholic and Christian and who consider themselves pro-life.

Yet there is not one single word in the Bible where their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, is speaking as God, where Jesus supports any act of violence.  Which means that any portion of the Bible that the Republican Party and the tea party are quoting or that any of their supporters are quoting are not the actual words of God.  But are in fact words of human beings interpreting the word of God.  And interpreting is the key word.

Because the Republican Party is showing very clearly as well is the tea party, with their support of the National Rifle Association.  That they really don't have any respect for Jesus Christ.  Because their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, lived a life as a pacifist.  He did not believe in violence.  The Bible that the Christian conservatives in the United States and the evangelical Christians of the United States and the Catholics of the United States and around the world use our exactly.  Or at least mostly, the same.  And the only place in those Bibles that Jesus actually spoke was during the passion story.  Which is when he was alive.

And that means that the Republican Party or any Catholic or Christian claims that Jesus was speaking in any other time in the Bible that they would then have to admit that he did not die on the cross and that they are not waiting for the second coming of Christ.

Which means, by the very fact they are taking that position where they believe that he did die and they are waiting for the second coming of Christ.  That they are subsequently then substantiating that they do not believe that he was able to speak as God in any other place in the Bible other than in the passion story.  When he was alive.

And that of course means that they have no proof whatsoever that the positions they are taking whereby they are supporting gun violence and guns is actually something that Jesus would have supported because during the time he was living.  He did not support violence of any kind.

So the Republican Party and the tea party don't respect Jesus because he lived a life of peace as a result of their own public voting record and their own public actions.  And they don't respect Jesus, because he lived a life of poverty and they don't like the poor and they don't like the disabled, or the terminally ill or children or women.  Then of course, one wonders.  What actually do the Republican Party and the tea party respect about their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ?  How are they being good Christians, when they are supporting guns, which kill, when their Lord and Savior never supported any form of violence?

Anyone can say they are good Christian or Catholic, ladies and gentlemen.  But it's an entirely different matter to put your money where your mouth is and to demonstrate that you actually are a good Christian or a good Catholic.  Using guns for violence are supporting violence of any kind is not something that the Lord and Savior of the Catholics and Christians would ever agree with.  Their own Bible clearly shows that.

And do that.  And I'm asking that you please take a look at this video.  Because this video is a result of the right-wing extremists in every single one of the four different major religions here on Earth telling lies about their religion and supporting violence.  When Mohammed and Moses and Jesus all lived lives of pacifism.  They were dedicated to peace.  They did not believe in violence.  And if you really do believe in Jesus Christ or mom it or Moses or God or Allah.  Then I'm asking you to stand up against the NRA and their terrorist tactics and the Republican Party and the tea party and their dirty lying about how they are good Christians.  When they are not showing in any way publicly or by their legislation that they support anything that Jesus either died for or lived his life as.

Thank you.

If we continue to teach our children violence and lie to them about the lives of the spiritual leaders that we are following that our children are only going to become more violent than they already are.  If we don't stand up to the NRA and their terrorist tactics supporting violence and gun violence in this country more children are simply going to end up being murdered.  We as adults.  We as mothers and fathers must stand together and demand that the right-wing extremists.  Regardless, what country they are in, stop killing our children.
