Are We There Yet?

Are We There Yet?
This is the sign that is over the front door of Aileen's and my house, our home, going OUT. Meaning that when someone leaves our house they are going into the ACTUAL Mental Ward.

I've always felt that way. When it is considered how much ugliness and killing and hatred there is in the world today, it actually makes perfect sense that this sign is over the door going out of the house.

Because that's where the real mental ward is.

The giraffe (Giraffa camelopardalis) is an African even-toed ungulate mammal, the tallest of all extant land-living animal species, and the largest ruminant. Its scientific name, which is similar to its archaic English name of camelopard, refers to its irregular patches of color on a light background, which bear a token resemblance to a leopard's spots. Poaching, Trafficking a Menace for Already Endangered Animals | Around the World - Yahoo! News

Considering that God made everything.  Just what do you think that God is going to be feeling toward us who are one of his creations or her creations or its creations.  When we go about destroying so selfishly and with such greed and malice other creatures that God created?  If you think God is going to be happy for what we have done to this world and to other creatures in this world then you are probably kidding yourself.  This world was pristine.  Before we got here.  And since we have arrived.  We have destroyed most of the animal species on the planet, or at least reduced them to such dangerous levels that many species have literally gone extinct.  Meaning we have killed them and removed them from the equation of Earth.  God never gave us that right.  Nowhere in any religious document does God tell us whether you are Muslim or Buddhist or Catholic or Christian or Jewish or any other belief system.  Nowhere does the Almighty tell us to destroy other creatures to the point where they no longer exist.

So if anyone is thinking that God is going to come down and say thank you to us for what we have done.  That's probably a mistake.  And I will say this with absolute certainty.  It will probably be after I am dead and gone.  But if humanity doesn't wise up and stop destroying this world, then humanity probably won't have a world that is really very livable and humanity will be looking like nothing maggots climbing around on a pile of garbage in the eyes of God.

Remember when God created us this world was in fact pristine.  And look what we have done.  Tell me now that God is going to be proud of what we have done.  And I will have to say that's a lie.
